Malkhaz Machikashvili plans to take a tent outside the parliament to another location.

He says that the banner will be left there, but not the tent.

"How hapless you are, "Georgian Dream." You have even stooped to using a young child against Machikashvili to save yourself. You are hitting rock bottom daily, clutching at straws. It is the first time over these 700 days and nights that I can use this possibility to restore strength and rest a bit. The banner saying that a temporary commission must be created will be placed outside the parliament, because we do not have a more suitable location at this point. As regards the tent, we have other plans concerning it," Machakashvili writes in social media.

The Tbilisi City Hall Cleaning Service removed tents outside the parliament, including Machikashvili's tent on Dec.30, at night, and replaced them with attractions for children and Christmas decorations.

Rallies were staged following this move, with this resulting in clashes among protesters and law enforcers. The MIA detained nine people during the confrontation.

On Dec.31, the City Hall issued the statement saying that the tents were taken down and stored with their owners' consent, with them being entitled to return them any time.
