Otar Abashidze, an 87-year-old resident of the Kobuleti municipality, has beaten the new coronavirus. Mr. Abashidze has already left the clinic.

Georgia recorded 1,595 new cases of the novel virus in the past 24 hours to bring the total tally to 22, 803. The country's death toll is now at 178 (six deaths in the past 24 hours). A total of 9,401 citizens have so far recovered (398 recent).
