Nearly 50-year-old man confirmed to have COVID-19 after using a rapid test at a special medical center on the Enguri Bridge in Rukhi.
As the clinical director of the Rukhi Clinic told Report.ge, this does not mean that the man has confirmed to have the coronavirus.
According to Nino Akobia, the quick test showed a positive result, but now this answer is checked according to the gold standard.
"He underwent the procedure required for the PCR test today, and in a short time, we will have a laboratory-tested answer, after which appropriate measures will be taken," Nino Akobia told Report.ge.
