The Interagency Coordination Council made the decision to declare May 4-11 a holiday in Georgia as part of preventive measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

Municipal transport will not operate throughout Georgia until May 12. The restriction came into force yesterday.

The restriction does not apply to intercity transport.
