The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia issued a statement urging citizens to stay at home.
"According to the Resolution of Government of Georgia N 181 of March 23, 2020, access to the cemetery is limited throughout Georgia. The measures work to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. Accordingly, the police control the access to the cemeteries. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia calls on the citizens to stay at home, refrain from moving in the public spaces and take care of each other's health," reads the statement issued by the agency.
