The Coordination Council of the Government decided to involve the Georgian Defense Forces in preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus in Bolnisi and Marneuli.
Together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Defense Forces set up special checkpoints near the quarantine zone.
The Georgian Defense Forces Eastern Command technique entered the territory of Marneuli and Bolnisi at dawn.
Throughout the night, they stationed five checkpoints in the two municipalities.
The medical personnel of the Defense Forces will conduct medical examinations at the tents set up on the location. Incoming and outgoing vehicles will undergo special disinfectation. Defense forces will also control the outer perimeter of Marneuli and Bolnisi.
Quarantine got announced in Marneuli and Bolnisi.
