The Minister tested positive on November 3. She was undergoing treatment at home following the recommendation of doctors.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, also had coronavirus; he was undergoing treatment from November 1 to November 11. The Prime Minister returned to work on November 11, after defeating the virus.
