The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, held a meeting with the Public Defender - Nino Lomjaria.
According to the agency's press service, the meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Shalva Bedoidze and the Deputy Minister - Alexander Darakhvelidze, as well as the Deputy Ombudsman Giorgi Burjanadze.
At the meeting, the parties talked about the ongoing processes in the pre-election period and discussed the recent incidents.
The Minister of Internal Affairs and the Public Defender expressed their readiness for active cooperation in order to share information and respond to possible violations during the election period.
