The Ministry of Defence of Georgia has defined information saying that 65 servicemen have left the second infantry brigade of Senaki municipality as false.
The statement by the ministry reads that CNewsv News Agency has spread misinformation aiming at discrediting the Georgian Defense Forces and downplaying the importance of successful reforms by the government. ''Information by the agency according to which 65 servicemen have left the second infantry brigade of Senaki municipality is not close to the truth.
Despite it having verified the information at the Ministry of Defence of Georgia as false, the agency disseminated fake news. Latest reforms involving pay rise, improvement of their living conditions, education opportunities, and better healthcare have resulted in the substantial reduction of the number of servicemen living defense forces,'' the statement reads.
