
The Ministry of Education is preparing recommendations for schools to allow teachers to work with students during the holidays.
According to Ekaterine Dgebuadze, the Deputy Minister of Education, the ministry is working in two directions.
"One of the recommendations is how teachers should work with students during the holidays, and the other is the guidance that the ministry prepares for schools. The purpose is to provide the schools with updated information on how to achieve the results of the national curriculum," Ekaterine Dgebuadze said.
According to her, during the holidays, the salaries of school administration, teachers, and technical staff will be paid without interruption.
The holidays in educational institutions prolonged until April 1, on March 11.
There are 24 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia.
Currently, there are 295 people in quarantine and 49 in inpatient care.
