The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia expresses its condolences over the death of Georgian diplomat, publicist, writer, and teacher Gela Charkviani and extends its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
"Gela Charkviani, who has been teaching for many years, has brought up many generations. He was a progressive thinker and a multi-talented man who enjoyed the special love of the community. The death of Gela Charkviani is a great loss for our country," the ministry said in a statement.
Georgian diplomat, publicist, writer, teacher, and TV presenter Gela Charkviani died at the age of 82.
