The Ministry of Education and Science releases a statement.

The agency urges the public, especially on holidays and on weekends, to strictly follow the protocol established by the Ministry of Health so that students can continue their studies in the classroom from May 13.

"The data of April 26-29, as a result of monitoring and mandatory testing, shows that 0.3% of teachers and school administration representatives and 0.1% of students tested positive on the virus across the country. It is noteworthy that this figure is identical to the previous week, which is very important for the education system.

At the parents' request, due to the confirmation of the virus, there are 106 schools and 180 separate classes across the country studying remotely, which is an increased number compared to the previous week.

There is also a slight decrease in the number of teachers in the risk group who have been granted a request for distance teaching. For now, 115 teachers across the country teach remotely," said the Ministry in a statement.
