The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia celebrates their professional day – Georgian Diplomacy Day on November 3. This year the Ministry celebrates this day in Jighaura Scientific Research Center. “Diplomatic Tour” was organized for the diplomats accredited in Georgia.
The Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili, informed the guests on the importance of viticulture for Georgia. The diplomats enjoyed various activities.They participated in wine grapes harvesting process as well as the following processing activities.
The diplomats who made particular contribution into Georgian diplomacy during 2019 were awarded certificates of gratitude. According to the statement made by the Minister, Davit Zalkalian, a new profession award named after Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani was initiated and will become in effect in the nearest future.
The Diplomacy Day in Georgia was established in 2004 and is celebrated on November 3 – the birthday of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani.
