The Ministry of Internal Affairs released a statement prior to the premiere of the film And Then We Danced.
According to reports, the premiere of the feature film And Then We Danced is being held at several cinemas in Tbilisi and Batumi on November 8, 9 and 10. Certain groups have released the information stating that they will try to interfere the screening.
The Ministry of the Internal Affairs ensures the protection of public safety and law, as well as the freedom of expression of every individual who does not violate the law.
“We urge everyone to obey the law. Otherwise, the police will act within their mandate and any violations will be immediately prevented", the statement said.
Georgian-Swedish film And Then We Danced will be released in Georgian cinemas on November 8.
