The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Georgia is actively engaged in the development of the program to help schools to avoid staying behind the national education plan due to the prolonged vacations. The Ministry informed Report.ge about it.

Together with Experts of National Educational Program, the Ministry has developed recommendations and guidelines for educational institutions.

According to the recommendations, schools are responsible for providing students with educational resources via various communication means. Schools have to involve parents in the educational process.

One of the alternative ways of communication is a distance learning program TEAMS, which uses Microsoft Office 365.

Deputy Minister Ekaterina Dgebuadze organized a working meeting of representatives of the management information system and the Ministry’s staff to discuss the details.

The parties discussed opportunities for TEAMS use and possible problems related to electronic education.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport continues to place the free electronic resource on the www.el.ge portal.
