According to the Agency of the Internally Displaced Persons, a total of 360 IDP families having resided in buildings too dangerous to be inhabited have become owners of flats in recently built apartment blocks in the Zugdidi municipality.

Five new apartment buildings are now reportedly being constructed on Baramia street in the Zugdidi municipality for 600 more IDP families, with the Ministry of Regional Development and infrastructure carrying out the activities.

A total of 22,655 IDP families have received flats across Georgia for the last eight years, the Agency of the Internally Displaced Persons says.
