Head of the NCDC Amiran Gamkrelidze rules out the possibility of a doctor not answering a phone call when patients call them.
"I answer almost all calls. If I cannot answer them, I send messages, saying that I will call them back. Today, when the country is going through a rough patch, doctors must be immensely appreciated. More than 8,000 medical personnel have already been infected, with some of them dying.
There is no chance of a doctor not answering a phone call. If a citizen does not know his or her family doctor's number, they can find a clinic in which they are registered on a special webpage with their ID numbers. If they fail to reach their doctors, they can dial 112 or hotline 1505. Also, 116001 and ask specific questions there, or 144," Gamkrelidze said.
