NCDC of Georgia defines information saying that Georgia ranks first worldwide with its coronavirus death rate per a million citizens is false.
''This information has been misinterpreted. The selected counties, which Georgia allegedly tops with its death toll, have been improperly seleced as Georgia's situation has been compared with the situation of those countries where the death rate is extremely low at this point only. According to trustworthy data, Georgia is not even among the top 20 countries worldwide, with its death toll,'' advisor of the NCDC's director, Natia Skhvitaradze, said.
