A new case of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia, while 24 patients recovered in the country. The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health reveals information about the updated data.

There are 702 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia so far. Among them, 456 recovered, and 12 died.

The number of people in quarantine is 3787, while 337 are under supervision at the hospital, and three citizens of Georgia transferred from abroad for treatment.

The first case of coronavirus got detected on February 26, 2020, in Georgia.

A state of emergency was declared on March 21, and a full quarantine regime from March 31.

The World Health Organization recognized coronavirus as a pandemic on March 11, 2020.

The outbreak of pneumonia in China began in December of 2019.

China confirmed that coronavirus was contagious and declared quarantine in two cities on January 21.
