"According to the government decree, the transfer of space for social events and mass entertainment events is prohibited," the press service of the Government of Georgia reports.

The transfer/concession of space for social events ( weddings, anniversaries, etc.) and mass entertainment events is prohibited; - relevant change was made in the Resolution of the Government of Georgia on the "Rules of Isolation and Quarantine."

Ordinance obliges the owner of the space to take all reasonable measures, including imposing a specific restriction in the contract, to prevent the use of the space for the purposes prohibited by the ordinance. In addition, the owner of the space is obliged to immediately notify the relevant services as soon as receiving information about the violation.

Suppose the prohibited measure is accompanied by a breach of the requirements approved by the order of the Minister of Health to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). In that case, the Labor Inspection Service, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, may temporarily restrict unauthorized entry. Unauthorized access to the facility, neglecting the seal, or disregarding the requirements imposed on the facility by the Labor Inspection Service is not allowed.

According to the current legislation, the gathering of more than ten individuals is restricted.

Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili has already signed the amendments to the resolution of the Government of Georgia on the approval of the "Rules of Isolation and Quarantine."
