Former Director-General of Rustavi 2 TV and the founder of Mtavari Arkhi (Main Channel), Nika Gvaramia, has expressed his gratitude to former Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani.
In Gvaramia's words, Tea Tsulukiani provided them with significant assistance when they filed a lawsuit against Russia in Strasbourg Court.
Gvaramia said that Mrs. Tsulukiani served as Georgia's Justice Minister and also worked in Strasbourg back then, and her call was crucial.
"She helped us immensely, and I thank her for this. I thank her for this and not for what happened afterward. Everything happening today in the UN International Court of Justice is a betrayal of our country, with this playing into Russia's hands," Gvarama stressed.
Georgia has won the 2008 war Georgia vs. Russia case. Georgia filed a lawsuit against Russia in August of 2008, accusing it of breaching Article 8 of the Convention.
