"Out of 1 085 new cases of infection detected in the country today, 664 cases were identified in Tbilisi, Adjara - 96, Imereti - 52, Kvemo Kartli - 40, Shida Kartli - 31, Guria - 24, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 120, Kakheti - 24, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 22, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 5, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 7.
There are 8 604 active cases of infection, of which 2 546 people are undergoing treatment at the hospitals, including 1 264 in Tbilisi, 390 in Adjara, and 360 in Imereti. There are 426 seriously ill patients, including 209 in Tbilisi, 54 in Adjara, and 73 in Imereti. 81 people on a breathing device, 52 of them in Tbilisi, 10 in Adjara, and 7 in Imereti. 338 people are accommodated at hotels, including 201 in Tbilisi and 126 in Adjara," the statement said.
