According to Marina Endeladze, the head of the boxed department of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, 190 out of 527 new cases of coronavirus detected in Georgia are related to Adjara.
It should be noted that the number of infected people is growing rapidly in Tbilisi. In the last 24 hours, 179 new cases of coronavirus got detected in the capital.
"Fortunately, in Adjara, as a result of the measures taken, the number has decreased, 36%, equals 190 patients. But the number increased in Tbilisi, 34%, or 179 people. Imereti is in third place again, with 91 patients. There has been a slight increase in Kvemo Kartli, where there are 28 new patients. There are ten patients in Shida Kartli, 11 new cases in Kakheti, three patients in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 3 in Guria, and 1 in Samtskhe-Javakheti," said Marina Endeladze.
