A one and a half-year-old girl died in Rustavi. The family members found the deceased at home.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation was launched under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (Loss of life through negligence).
The crime is punishable by restricting freedom for the term of up to five years or by imprisonment for the same term.
The cause of death is yet unknown.
