One of the FC Saburtalo Academy stadiums, located on Iosebidze Street, was named after the deceased football player, Giorgi Shakarashvili.
The family members, friends, and club members of the deceased 19-year-old footballer attended the event.
According to the club leaders' decision, FC Saburtalo will remove Shakarashvili's number 21 T-shirts from all teams.
Besides, an international tournament named after the football player will occur in the nearest future.
Giorgi Shakarashvili played in all age teams at the Saburtalo Academy for the last eleven years.
