One out of the three coronavirus cases registered today is connected with Spain. Marina Ezugbaia, Clinical Director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital (TIDH), says that the virus is imported from Spain in this case. According to her, two other patients are placed in other hospitals, and she has no information about their condition.
“Twenty-one tests were done in TIDH yesterday revealing one virus-positive case. The rest results are virus-free. As you already know, the patients after 15-16 days of hospitalization are periodically tested, showing slight improvement of the test results. It shows the number of days required to conduct check tests. We can monitor without any problems and provide you with information updates. The last case is connected with Spain,” – says Ezugbaia.
At the moment, the number of coronavirus-infected patients has increased to forty-seven, one out of the number is healed and released from the hospital; 1,966 persons are on quarantine, and 259 are placed in the hospitals under the doctors’ observation.
