Nine foreigners were deported from Georgia in the first quarter of 2021. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs report, the number of foreign nationals deported from Georgia is reduced by 16 annually.
In January-March of 2021, one male Azerbaijani citizen, aged 41 to 65, was deported from Georgia to neighboring Azerbaijan. Last year, 7 Azerbaijani citizens were deported; two were deported in the first quarter of 2020.
