One person was killed in a fire on Didimamishvili Street in Akhaltsikhe. Firefighters found the body of a middle-aged man on the fifth floor of a five-story building in one of the apartments.
As the Emergency Management Agency told report.ge, the fire rescue service arrived on the spot 4 minutes after the call; the fire has been extinguished.
"Fire broke out on the bed and the floor around it," the emergency services said in a statement.
The investigation will determine the cause of the fire.
