"Our decision to put up tents for coronavirus testing in Batumi was wrong," Paata Imnadze, the deputy director at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, said, adding that this resulted in extra pressure on laboratories and delayed coronavirus test results.
"This was our mistake, but only those make no mistakes who do nothing. These people easily criticize others. We are not infallible and can admit our mistakes," Imnadze said.
In August and September, tents for free COVID-19 testing were placed in Ajara.
