Well-known opera singer Paata Burchuladze is going on a hunger strike, demanding the transfer of the third president to a multi-profile clinic. He returned to Georgia today for this reason.
It is yet unknown where he will be located while starving. The information as if he is starting a hunger strike at the conservatory is a lie.
"Apart from not taking Mikheil Saakashvili to a multifunctional clinic, they also published shameful footage; they embarrassed the whole of Georgia, that's why I came. I want to express my modest protest and start a hunger strike. I do not want to take part in the death of my president. If we lose Saakashvili, we will lose Georgia; we will lose the clear and bright past we had," Burchuladze stated at Tbilisi International Airport.
The third president of Georgia has been on a hunger strike for 47 days. Deputies and doctors also started a hunger strike demanding that Mikheil Saakashvili be transferred to a multi-profile clinic.
