Paata Imnadze, the Deputy General Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, addresses the citizens with a request.
Paata Imnadze advises people who have even a slight symptom of coronavirus to take the test.
"Unfortunately, I see that the number of people asking to be tested is falling, so I ask everyone who has at least the slightest symptoms to apply to the relevant institutions. Today the country can do 20-22 thousand tests a day. Unfortunately, this number dropped to 14 thousand. In the beginning, people used to be more active," Imnadze said.
More than 200 institutions throughout Georgia can perform the so-called rapid, antigen-based tests.
