The Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health calls on citizens and medical staff to adhere to maximum safety standards. Paata Imnadze focused his attention on the misuse of medical gloves.
"The gloves create a false sense of security. Because when wearing a glove, you have to clean hands with alcohol the same way as without the glove. It makes no sense if we touch our faces while wearing gloves, or touch masks and answer phones," Imnadze noted that the skin does not infect the human body, but the dirty hand is the main source of infection.
