Paata Imnadze, the deputy director at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, has offered recommendations for coronavirus patients treating their symptoms at home.

Imnadze advises citizens diagnosed with COVID-19 to get enough fluids.

"The virus may cause abnormalities in blood clotting, which is why you should move. Rest but move at home. Everyone who has traveled on a plane knows that sitting too long is bad for your health. Move to let blood circulate in your body and drink fluids to allow it easily flow in your veins. Lemon tea is recommended.

Family doctors can assess patients' conditions. However, if risks are posed to patients' health, they should be taken to clinics," Imnadze said.
