"Two villages of Bolnisi municipality, if we recalculate the population, are practically in the same condition as Italy," Paata Imnadze, the Deputy Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health stated. Imnadze was talking about the villages of Mushavani and Geta.
Imnadze made the statement after a meeting with Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia.
"As you know, the situation in two villages in Bolnisi municipality is complicated. Testing rates in this region are not lower than the ones in Germany. We were discussing how, in what ways and by what means we could control the situation," Imnadze said.
