Tbilisi metro is overcrowded at rush hour. 

A Report News Agency reporter took the below-presented photos in the Akhmeteli Metro Station at around 06:30 p.m.

The photographs show that passengers are unable to keep a safe social distance from each other. 

Georgia recorded 499 novel virus cases in the last 24 hours to bring the total tally to 282,260. A total of 437 people recovered in a single day, with the number reaching 273,604. 

The country's death toll now stands at 3,785 (7 recent deaths).

Georgia confirmed its first COVID-19 case on 26 February 2020. 

The WHO labeled the novel virus a pandemic on 11 March 2020, with its outbreak starting in China in December of 2019. On 21 January, China confirmed that the new coronavirus is contagious and declared quarantine in its two cities.
