Passengers planning to visit Italy will be affected by newly introduced changes and will be provided with the possibility of receiving tickets to alternative countries, according to Airline Wizz Air.

"The largest low-cost airline Wizz Air is projecting a reduction of flights to Italy, with the reason being COVID-19 virus outbreak in northern Italy. From 11 March to 2 April of 2020, the frequency of flights will reduce by 60%, and it will be resumed on 2 April.

Passengers affected by these changes will get automatic messages and enabled to change their tickets a minimum of 14 days before the flight. Passengers having bought tickets through wizzair.com or the airline mobile application in this period of time will get an email, with the company fully refunding them and returning 120% of the fare on Wizz credit," the statement by the company reads.
