Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has expressed sympathy with late ex-MP Koba Davitashvili's family friends and the Georgian people.
"Passing of Koba Davitashvili has deeply saddened me! I knew this man well, and I know that he was a paragon of honesty and decency. We are all aware that this is not a regular phenomenon in politics.
I extend my deepest sympathies to the Georgian people, his friends, and family members because of their loss," the president wrote on Facebook.
A former member of parliament, Koba Davitashvili, has died at 49 today.
