A patient under the age of 30 died due to complications caused by the coronavirus in Georgia. The head of the National Center for Disease Control, Amiran Gamkrelidze, stated about it at the briefing.
"Unfortunately, according to the data received this morning, 14 patients have died in different clinics. We have dead in Batumi, Tbilisi, and Kutaisi. As for age, in most cases, it is elderly, but unfortunately, we have one that is under 30. The clinicians will determine the cause of death. We provide information only in terms of statistics. This patient, like all other deceased patients, was at the clinic," Gamkrelidze said.
One thousand three hundred fifty-one new patients tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia, while 337 patients defeated the virus. Information about this got published on the official website created by the government.
