Catholicos-patriarch Ilia II has spread a statement on the ongoing military activities on the ''sacred land.''
In the Patriarch's words, the entire world is put to the test and is going through a difficult patch now. ''This hurts Georgia as it has always been linked to Israel spiritually.
We are deeply concerned over the existing tense situation and call upon our public to ask God for peace in their daily prayers for Jerusalem and the sacred land, as well as Georgia and the entire world,'' IliaII's statement reads.
