The Special Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice issues a statement revealing that the medical staff decided to dismiss Mikheil Saakashvili, which he did not obey, and an increase in blood pressure was observed due to anxiety.

According to the agency, Saakashvili's transfer to the Rustavi N12 facility got temporarily postponed.

"On the grounds of concern, he was experiencing pressure fluctuations, as a result of which the Special Penitentiary Service decided to postpone the legal transfer measure temporarily. It should be noted that Mikheil Saakashvili, convicted on November 19 of this year, was transferred to the Giorgi Abramishvili Military Hospital in Gori for appropriate treatment, where he received all the necessary medical services," the statement reads.
