Petre Tsaava, who was deprived of the high priest ranking of the Metropolitan Bishop of Chyondidi by the Holy Synod and Ilia II, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia and the spiritual leader of the Georgian Orthodox Church is in the Chkondidi Diocese awaiting the arrival of his successor Bishop Grigol.
“I will try my actions to be all Christian. I will decide what to do and you will find out about it", former Metropolitan Bishop of Chkondidi and Martvili said during his visit to Martvili Cathedral.
According to Tsaava he was unfairly dismissed and thinks that he has not insulted the the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.
