A physician in the Marneuli quarantine area has been accused of sexual misconduct with several female patients.
A patient was required to take off her clothes to have her lungs examined for COVID-19, and lie on the bed later, an alleged victim stated. The "Sapari" Company is protecting the rights of this victim, saying that other women have also blamed the doctor for subjecting them to sexual harassment.
The organization claims that similar instances are commonplace everywhere.
The Ombudsman is reportedly looking into the incident. The "Sapari" Organization requires that the doctor be temporarily banned treating patients and providing medical services until the charges are resolved.
