In carrying out construction works, a private company has damaged an average-pressure gas transmission pipeline, with this resulting in the suspension of gas supply to around 14,000 customers in the Gldani-Nadzaladevi district.
"Tbilisi Energy Company teams are working non-stop, with the efforts planned to continue all night to repair the damaged pipeline in the shortest possible term.
Energy Tbilisi Company apologizes for the inconvenience caused by unforeseen circumstances over which we had no control.
Gas supply will be restored tomorrow morning gradually, with customers getting text messages notifying them of the precise time," the statement by the Company reads.
