The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili, together with the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, the Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, and the representatives of the executive and legislative authorities attended the Christmas service in the Trinity Cathedral.
The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia held the solemn service dedicated to the Nativity of the Savior, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, together with the Metropolitan of Senaki and Chkhorotsku Shio Mujiri, members of the Holy Synod and priests.
Before the solemn service, the parishioners gathered in the Trinity Cathedral listened to the Christmas Epistle of the Georgian Patriarch.
