Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said that after successful negotiations with the Pfizer president, they have achieved an agreement on getting a million vaccine doses.
Mr. Gharibashvili stressed that the contract with Pfizer has already been completed, with the required amount paid.
''We expect to get a total of 4 million vaccines by the end of the current year, with this enabling us to achieve our target and fully vaccinate 60% of the adult population by the end of 2021. I thank the US government who has assisted us in holding successful negotiations. I have also communicated with Pfizer President personally, and I can now say that we will have received 4 mln vaccine doses by the end of the year,'' the PM declared.
