The search operation for the young man who went missing in the village of Namakhvani requires emptying pools at Gumat HPP Cascade and Rion HPP Headquarters.
According to the Emergency Management Agency, the works on the Rioni River are underway.
"As part of the operation, fire-rescue teams will work in the area.
The Emergency Management Agency calls on the local population to be extremely careful and attentive.
Information about the mentioned work will be provided to the population on the spot as well," the statement reads.
The search for 27-year-old Nika Antidze, who went missing in Rioni, has been going on since April 10.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the incident under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which means leading individuals to suicide.
