During the sitting of the Interagency Coordinating Council under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Gakharia noted that everything should be done to restore public transport safely as soon as possible.
"The government is aware of the effect current restrictions, especially the suspension of public transport, has for the population and once again explains that these steps are aimed at avoiding threats to the health and to maintaining the positive results achieved in the fight against the virus.
The strict quarantine regime is still in force in two villages of Tetritskaro and Bolnisi Municipality - Mushevani and Geta. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, the medical staff continues to carry out additional medical measures in the villages and tests the population on the virus.
