President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, continues her visits to touristic regions of the country. On July 5, the President visited the family of a Georgian farmer producing endemic sorts of wheat in the village of Ghrishi in the Lechkhumi region. She observed the fields of zandura, dika, and red dola, which are the sorts of Georgian wheat culture. Besides, she visited the Ghvirishi waterfall.
“It is the fact that in all regions of Georgia there are many wonderful places to discover. I want to call on everybody to use the summer for it. Many people cannot leave Georgia for vacations, but many of us can travel within the country and discover wonderful places!” – said Zurabishvili.
Today the President also managed to visit Orbeli overview and passed the paths, connecting the Muri towers.
The President visited Lanchkhuti in the framework of the Tourism Support Campaign.
