Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has attended the event at which the 2020 report of the Wounded Warrior Support Foundation was presented. Some event participants attended the event remotely due to the pandemic.
On behalf of the Georgian people, the president thanked wounded warriors and war veterans for their selfless commitment to their country and stressed that the public is obliged to express its gratitude to these heroes daily.
"A special thanks is due to you for setting the example to future generations and for showing them what a decent citizen must be like, the citizen the country needs today! The public itself must express its gratitude to these decent citizens daily," Zurabishvili declared.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps, ambassadors, military attachés, the EU ambassador, members of the Business Association of Georgia, Women's Association, and others were present at the online presentation of the report.
