"Christmas is a celebration of kindness, hope, renewal, the beginning of a new life, I wish every Georgian to fulfill their wishes and hopes," said the Prime Minister of Georgia while congratulating with Christmas.
The Head of the Government talked about the key messages of His Holiness's epistle, noting that humility, not arrogance, forgiveness, and not a conflict, was the key.
"In the end, His Holiness said that this country is ours, no matter what political party we belong to, and it is our obligation to take care of this country together," Giorgi Gakharia said.
The Head of the Government attended the Christmas liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral with the Chairperson of Parliament and members of the Cabinet of Ministers. Ilia II, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia and the spiritual leader of the Georgian Orthodox Church, conducted the liturgy with the priests.
